I’m Lucy. I keep a diary of the lights I love.
It started with my grandmother’s brass table lamp, the one that lived on the piano at her house in Cornwall. She died when I was thirty and I inherited it, and for months I turned it on and off just to hear the click. I’ve been obsessed ever since.
I’m not a designer. I trained in textiles, worked in editorial for a while, and now I write mostly for pleasure. This diary is where I keep every light I’ve fallen for. Table lamps, pendants, wall lights, the occasional lantern. All with links to buy them if you’re taken with any of them yourself.
I don’t take sponsorship. Some of the links here earn me a small commission when you buy through them. That’s what makes the diary keep going. It never costs you a penny more.
Thanks for visiting,
Lucy
